I met Rocco and his wife Mady during their time in Louisville, KY for the Pastors College. Rocco and Mady faithfully serve as members in Sovereign Grace Church of Louisville. While both are remarkably talented in numerous area, what stands out is their humble willingness to serve where needed, whether it's the cleaning team or as a members of the Sunday band. Rocco has a heart for the lost and is eager to share the gospel in Italy. His preparation for ministry is impressive, having served pastorally in Italy and England, and receiving training in multiple institutions in England and here at the PC. The man has persevered and is ready to plant in Italy. Throughout this year my confidence in Rocco's ability to pastor has only grown. He has a passion for the local church and seeing the gospel reach the nations. Rocco leads his family with strength and humility and will be a faithful and insightful minister of the Word.

A letter to Sovereign Grace Pastors

Brothers,
I am reaching out to commend Rocco and Mady Dalia to you.
Many of you may already know that Rocco is an Italian man who has recently
joined Sovereign Grace and has attended our Pastors College in the US. He has become a fast
friend and partner in ministry. Rocco and his wife Mady are also already
serving Sovereign Grace in some important ways in Italy. They have worked on
translating a number of foundational documents like our website, 7 Shared
Values, Statement of Faith, as well as Sovereign Grace Music songs to serve the
Italian church. Both Rocco and Mady are very concerned to see precise and clear
doctrinal truths brought to Italy! I couldn't be more grateful for that.
Additionally, Rocco and Mady have a heart to see churches planted... As such, he and I have begun the process of planting a church together. We will plant in Torino, near one of Italy's most important universities which also has a large international population. We believe this will become a sort of base for raising men into ministry and serving to build a family of churches in Italy. Lord willing, this will also serve to extend the gospel into other European countries and beyond as men are mentored and envisioned during university and sent back to their homeland to church plant. We trust God for what He will do and are excited with the very thought of participating in His great plan!
Both Rocco and I are clear that this is not "our project" - it is a shared mission. You and your church are already a part of what is happening, so having the opportunity to get to know Rocco and hear directly from him may help underline the amazing privilege we enjoy in our interdependency. Please don't feel any pressure on this. I know that the life of a local church is full and there are so many things to accomplish. If this is not an opportunity and blessing for your church, know that we still treasure you and our partnership and feel very supported by you!
