WHO WE ARE

Rocco and Mady

Rocco Dalia

Rocco has a 8-year pastoral and evangelistic ministry experience in three different churches. He served as a pastor of a small church in northern Italy for 2 years before moving to the UK in September 2013. There he served for 2 years as a Pastoral Ministry Apprentice at Grace Church Guildford and then for 4 yeas as a Pastor-In-Training at West Hill Baptist Church in South London. He is passionate about training and equipping believers - especially young adults - to become "lights in the world" (Philippians 2:15) that we might reflect the glorious gospel at work within and among us. After almost 10 years of preparation abroad, it is now time for him to serve again in Italy, his own native Country, reaching the unsaved with the Good News of Jesus Christ, and equipping and protecting God's flock there. Rocco has studied both at London Seminary, UK, and at the Sovereign Grace Pastors College, KY, USA. Rocco and Madalina have been married since November 2011.

Madalina Dalia Dirlea

Mady (as she commonly goes by) was set for a career as a professional violin player until she felt called to leave that path behind to work alongside Rocco. She serves by translating gospel-centered, Christ-exalting and biblically-sound congregational songs for the Italian church, especially modern hymns from Sovereign Grace, Getty Music and City Alight. Her translation ministry expands to books. She has recently worked on 'Sing!', by Keith and Kristine Getty, 'Corporate Worship', by Matt Merker (IX Marks), and 'Knowing Christ', by Mark Jones. Her desire is to carry on this ministry in Italy, alongside being fully involved in church-based music ministry and discipling women. Mady has led music during Services since she was a teenager and, while in the UK, she also gathered experience in organizing church music groups at Grace Church Guildford. She has successfully completed the two-year Sussex Gospel Partnership Training Course.
